Branch AGM at Mere Sands Wood

Written by CPRE Lancashire

CPRE Lancashire members are invited to an informative talk by Lindsay Beaton as we stroll around Mere Sands Wood, a Lancashire Wildlife Trust site, on the afternoon of Wednesday 12th September.  Tea and cakes will be in abundance in the meeting room following our walk, with a very brief AGM at the end!

On the 19th July, CPRE Lancashire was pleased to host more than fifty attendees to an event titled ‘Greening the Liverpool City Region’.  We updated the attendees on the activity of CPRE and showed two films depicting the current situation regarding Government housing requirements and the issues around bring brownfield land forward and pressure to release Green Belt protected land.

The Lancashire Branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) held a second public meeting on 20 March to discuss the Greater Manchester Spatial Framework (GMSF), currently under review.
