CPRE Lancashire accessibility statement

Accessibility

We have constructed this site within DDA guidelines on accessibility. These are the features which assist accessibility:

Standards compliance

The site complies with W3C CSS and W3C XHTML standards.

Links

Many links have title attributes which describe the link in greater detail unless the text of the link already aptly describes the target.

Images

All content images used in this site include descriptive ALT attributes and purely decorative graphics have null ALT attributes.

Visual design

This site uses cascading style sheets (CSS) for the visual layout. The font sizes are compatible with the user-specified "text size" option in visual browsers. If your browser or browsing device does not support stylesheets, then the content of each page is still readable.
