Personnel
Vice-Chair

Richard Jennison
I joined CPRE when I retired from the nuclear industry in 2001 and became District Chair for Chorley within a year. As Joint Chair of the Environmental & Planning Forum my main focus is on key environment issues for Lancashire, particularly its landscape character, rural tranquillity and protection of the greenbelt. We are currently working with Lancashire County Council and District Authorities on future Minerals and Waste Strategy and the further development of the West Pennine Moors as part of a wider regional park. I am developing links with Lancashire Gardens Trust and Civic Trust members to work together with CPRE to protect Lancashire’s historic greenspaces and urban character and the development of new green infrastructure.
Outside my CPRE activities I enjoy creating a varied wildlife habitat in my country garden which has resulted in an increase in the variety of species observed each year.
Branch Administrator

Linda Gillett
Linda has lived in lancashire all her life, she is interested in Gardening, Computers and Woodworking. Her interest in gardening and the outdoors attracted her to the CPRE and her computer knowledge and administration skills makes her a valuable addition to the office. She also doesn't like her photograph taken!
Branch Volunteer

John Langston
Originally from Watford and moved north in 1974 to continue employment with BTR at Leyland. In 1996 took early retirement.
