What does the group do?

1. Reviews weekly list of Planning Applications from South Ribble Borough Council.

2. Responds to South Ribble Borough Council’s Planning Department

  • with reservations on proposals which are likely to harm or erode our countryside or environment
  • opposing harmful Planning Applications
  • to give local information or constructive comments on applications which have scope for betterment of the environment

3. Attends Local Area Meetings where Planning issues are discussed

4. LDF - This is currently being revised and we are involved in the production of this via our groups comments.

 

Meeting Venue:

Meetings are usually held on the fourth Monday of the month (excluding Bank Holidays).
