What does the group do?
1. Reviews weekly list of Planning Applications from South Ribble Borough Council.
2. Responds to South Ribble Borough Council’s Planning Department
- with reservations on proposals which are likely to harm or erode our countryside or environment
- opposing harmful Planning Applications
- to give local information or constructive comments on applications which have scope for betterment of the environment
3. Attends Local Area Meetings where Planning issues are discussed
4. LDF - This is currently being revised and we are involved in the production of this via our groups comments.
Meeting Venue:

Meetings are usually held on the fourth Monday of the month (excluding Bank Holidays).

The National Planning Policy Framework is the Coalition's response to streamlining National Planning Policy such as Planning Policy Statements (PPS), Planning Policy Guidance (PPG) and Circulars.
