CPRE Lancashire would like to extend a warm invitation to all its members to attend the Annual General Meeting 2017.

We would very much like to meet and welcome as many members as possible to come along to our AGM to review the past year and hear of our future plans to work for the protection of the Lancashire countryside.

For members who are regulars at this event, we look forward to seeing you again. If you have not recently attended, please do think of coming along: your involvement at events such as this keep you informed of the dedicated work that the Branch is involved in on your behalf, and give us the opportunity of meeting you and hearing your issues with loss of countryside and green spaces in your areas.

Following a short AGM, this year's keynote speaker will be John Ball from the Lancashire Wildlife Trust who will deliver a talk entitled, “Plight of the Humble Bee.”

The meeting will be held on Friday, 19 May 2017 at County Hall, Preston. The doors will open for coffee and arrivals at 10.00am with the meeting beginning at 10.30am.

Lunch and refreshments will be provided and the meeting should be completed by 1.30pm.

For any further details and or to book your place please email our office at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. A copy of our full set of accounts is available on request from our office.

There is parking available behind Debenhams, just off Fishergate, and there are also very good Park & Ride facilities available at Capitol Centre, Walton–le-Dale, and Strand Road, Preston. Buses from both stop on Fishergate Hill at the Railway Station, just opposite County Hall.

We look forward to seeing as many of our members as possible this year!
