Volunteer Youth Ambassadors sought

1st July 2021

We’re looking for two Youth Ambassadors to help us in our aim of getting young people into the countryside, by carrying out a research project, reporting back to our Board of Trustees.

Youth Ambassador roles have been created with the purpose of broadening the base of contributors to our Trustee Board, to highlight countryside issues particularly relevant to young people and their access to the countryside and green space.

Our two Youth Ambassadors will each take on a part-time research project lasting 6 months, joining our monthly Trustee Board meetings to report on progress, as well as highlighting issues directly relevant to young people.

Please state in your application which of the two roles you are interested in:

  1. “Young people and the countryside: barriers and benefits” or
  2. “Food in the north west: seasonality, sustainability and localism”

The closing date for applications is 15th August 2021.

Please email us if you would like more information about the role, and follow the link below to apply.
