The Environmental Land Management Scheme will replace the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy in giving subsidies to farmers, but with a focus on environmental improvements. In our May talk, Adam Briggs gave a very helpful overview of progress to date on agricultural transition, the impact on farmers, and how they may deal with the changes.
