Photography competition winners announced

10th July 2020

Congratulations to the winners of our spring and summer 2020 photography competition: ‘the best view in Lancashire, the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester’.

Shortlisting from such a huge number of fantastic images, showing such a range of aspects of nature and landscape across our region was very difficult

Depicted above is ‘New Brighton Lighthouse’ by Stephen Carrigan: this wonderful sunset reflection picture won our ‘People’s Choice’ award, receiving the most votes on Facebook.

The winner of our Trustee vote was Tracy O’Connor, with her magical picture of a tree with lambs (below).

Richard Marchant was the runner up, with a picture of the lush green hills of East Lancashire.
