Spring 2020 Photography Competition
Thanks to all those who have entered our Spring Photography competition!
The competition is now closed, and we will be shortlisting entries over the next couple of weeks before posting the shortlisted pictures on our social media to find our ‘people’s favourite’!
About the competition (posted April 2020):
Spring is here, but instead of heading for our favourite beauty spots, we’re relying on back gardens or local green spaces to get a nature fix in our once-a-day exercise periods.
We know that there are some unbeatable beauty spots and green spaces across Lancashire, the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester – but sadly, we can’t visit them at the moment.
To cheer us all up, and help us to add to our list of places to visit when things return to normal, we’d like to invite you to send us a photo that you took BEFORE THE LOCKDOWN showing, in your opinion, ‘The best view in Lancashire, Liverpool City Region or Greater Manchester’. We’d love to hear what makes this place special to you and when the photo was taken.
To enter, you can email the photo to us at info@cprelancashire.org.uk, tag @cprelancs when you post your photo on Instagram and use the hashtag #CPRELancsbestview2020, or comment on our facebook page.
There will be two overall winners: one chosen by our Branch trustees, and a ‘people’s choice’ winner, who has received the most likes on social media.
Both prizewinners will receive a copy of CPRE’s fantastic book, 22 ideas that saved the English Countryside, and £50.
We look forward to featuring your photos on our website and social media pages.
Please make sure that if any people feature on your images, you have their permission for the photo to be entered into the competition.
The closing date is 14th June.
See the photos entered so far on our Facebook page, or follow us on Instagram.
